How to measure

Bust: around the fullest part of your bust, tape level, snug but not tight.
Waist: around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and seat, roughly 8 in (20 cm) below your natural waist.

Keep the tape parallel to the floor and measure over your underwear rather than over clothes. If you can, have someone else hold the tape.

Fit notes

A fitted bodice or a bodycon has little room to spare - take the larger size if you are between two.
An A-line, a wrap or a tie waist forgives the hip measurement; go by bust.
A few dresses are sold as One Size, and ten run in extended sizes from 4XL to 10XL. Some size tables map the letter size to a US numeric or W size instead - follow that product's own table.
Garment length is on the product page, because it changes with the cut - a midi on the same size can sit at two different points.
